Mrs. Mary C. Bostick passed away last Wednesday, March 12th at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.E. Tucker. Mary had lived with her since the death of her husband 17 years ago.

Mrs. Bostick was born May 10, 1847, in Henry county, Texas.

She was converted when a young woman and joined the Presbyterian church.

At the age of 22 years she was married to W.D. Bostick. To this union were born eight children, four boys and four girls, six of whom are living: T.W. Bostick, Hobart, Okla.; H.Y. Bostick, Sasakwa, Okla.; D.A. Bostick, Springifld, Colo.; Mrs. T.H. Newbern, Tulsa, Okla.; Mrs. L.O. Crosthwait, Hereford, Tex.; and Mrs. W.E. Tucker, Byars, Okla.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Boston, pastor of the First Baptist church of Sulphur, and were held Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Baptist church, followed by interment in Eastside cemetery, Byars.

The many friends of this community extend sincere sympathy to the bereaved.
