Velma Clark was born in Byars, Oklahoma on December 31, 1944 to Luella and Doran Clark and passed away on September 18, 2014.
She attended Wayne High School in Wayne, Oklahoma and graduated in 1963.
Velma attended Red Rock Baptist Church in Byars, OK and accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Red Rock Baptist Church in Byars, Ok. She was a member of Hillwod Baptist Church at the time of her death.
She worked at St. Anthony Hospital for over 35 years in the nursing field and in housekeeping for 10 years at Children's Hospital.
Velma was preceded in death by her parents, Luella Payton Clark and Doran Clark along with her daughter Tammy Clark, her sister Gloria Robinson-Weatherall and her brother Burnie Clark.
She leaves two daughers Shanta Bell (Eric) and Yolanda Dimery (Ronnie) along with nice grandchildren: Erica Bell, David Dail, Jr., Daviona Dial, Dashreona Glaspie, Crystal Smart, Dashaun Smart, Brian Dimery (Felicia), Genari Dimery and Jasmine Dimery along with four great grandchildren. Four sisters: Darlene Polk of Purcell, OK., Cleo Hunt of Spencer, OK., Wilma Jackson and Ella Simpkins of Oklahoma City, OK along with a host of nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends who cherish her memory.
