(permission granted)
On Tuesday, October 15, 2019, Brett Allan Yocham, adoring father and beloved son, passed away at the age of 31 years old.
Brett was born September 1, 1988, in Norman to Bo and Lori Yocham. He grew up in Blanchard, where he attended high school.
Brett joined the United States Air Force Reserves on May 10, 2016.
Brett loved to spend time with his little boys and enjoyed taking them on lots of exciting adventures. Brett had a way of making anything fun with his charismatic personality and his ability to make everyone laugh. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and just about anything outdoors. You could find him in his happy place on an off road trail where he would be four wheeling or on some open highway riding a motorcycle. He was also known as a Mr. Fix-it and could handle any job big or small. He spent countless hours helping his dad work on the many "projects" that he dragged home. Brett was a beloved father, husband, son, brother, grandson, nephew and best friend to so many and will be missed immensely.
Brett is survived by his wife Dani and their sons Beau, Brantley, and daughter Riley; his mother, Lori Shoup and husband Rod of Moore; his father, Bo Yocham and wife Jerri of Blanchard; three sisters, Mandy Eastep and husband Matt, and their children, Chandler and Chase, Mary Ann Potter and husband Wayne and their daughter Presley, Jackie Vara and husband Alberto, and their daughters Joslyn and Gianna; his paternal grandparents, Sonny and Joyce Yocham; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and a host of friends.
Brett is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Leonard and Mary Spoonemore and cousin Zachary Spoonemore.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 19, 2019, at the First Baptist Church in Blanchard.
Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
