Faye Marie (Green) Wright, 93, of Blanchard, died Sunday, August 23, 2015, in Oklahoma City. The daughter of Stephen Henry Green and Martha Ellen (Copeland) Green, she was born May 1, 1922 in Wanette, Oklahoma.

She married John William Wright on June 17, 1939, in Cole, Oklahoma. Faye was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Blanchard. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Wright; two daughters, Patricia Peterson and Peggy Clymer; a granddaughter, Shamen Wilson; six brothers; and six sisters.

She is survived by one son, William Wright, of Oklahoma City; six grandchildren, Skip Peterson of Newcastle, Todd Peterson and his wife, Paula, of Texas, Tony Peterson and his wife, Donna, of Texas, Patti Smith and her husband, Tom, of Blanchard, Christy Wright of Oklahoma City, and Jason Wright of Oklahoma City; seven great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, August 27, 2015 at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
