Linard married Grace Hawk in 1975 and she preceded him in death in June 2006. Linard served in the US Army for three years during the Korean Conflict. He lived in California for fifty years and worked as an iron worker for many years. Linard enjoyed working in his flower beds and walking with his dog.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Grace; four sisters, Georgia Conner, Bert Burlison, Gladys Wood, and Bell Casey; and two brothers, John White and Ruben White.
Linard is survived by two sisters, Betty Lemons of Blanchard and Annie Keller of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Eugene “Wimp” White and Ann Russell of Blanchard and James “Charlie” White and his wife, Anna Mae, of Blanchard; step-daughter, Lola Taylor, of California; step-sons, Sam Hawk of California and Bill Hawk of Arkansas; and many other loved ones and friend.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at the
Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the
Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour
Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at
