Gayleen Vicsek, 71, of Newcastle, died Wednesday, April 29, 2020, in Norman.  The daughter of Bobby Charles “Bob” Bonny and Geraldine “Jerry” (Brinkley) Bonny, she was born August 10, 1948 in Norman.
 

Gayleen married Michael Steven Vicsek on February 14, 1977 in Ft. Worth, Texas. She worked as a cafeteria manager for Newcastle Public Schools and retired after many years of service. In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing, watching the Oklahoma City Thunder, and shopping. Gayleen’s greatest enjoyment was spending time with family and friends. She was stubborn as a mule but very much loved by her family and friends.


She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Danny Bonny.


Gayleen is survived by her husband, Michael Vicsek of Newcastle; one daughter, Renee Mallory and her husband, Jory, of Newcastle; three sons, Bobby Claunch and his wife, Lana, of Newcastle, Chad Vicsek and his wife, Suzanne, of Norman, and Todd Vicsek and his wife, Cherie, of Edmond; nine grandchildren, Tory Mallory of Newcastle, Stephanie Longest and her husband, Chad, of Moore, Austin Claunch and his wife, Amber, of Newcastle, Lindsey Claunch of Oklahoma City, Cooper Vicsek of Norman, Presley Vicsek of Norman, Cody Vicsek of Edmond, Cady Vicsek of Edmond, and Jacy Vicsek of Edmond; five great grandchildren, Tucker, Justin, Gracie, Aiden, and Ellie; one brother, Steve Bonny and his wife, Gina, of Moore; one aunt, Vonnie Bewley and her husband, Wayne, of Moore; her beloved dog, Izzy; and many other loved ones and friends.
 

Viewing for friends and family will be from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, May 3, 2020, at the funeral home.

A private graveside service will be held in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
