Eddie was a Pentecostal Holiness in faith and worked as a diesel mechanic for many years. In his spare time, Eddie enjoyed attending his Thursday Breakfast Club meeting, deer hunting, and was a HAM radio operator. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Nita Tucker; his son, Eddie Tucker, Jr.; his niece, Christy Tucker; and his great niece, Briley Tucker.
Eddie is survived by his wife, Brenda Tucker, of Blanchard; his daughter, Becky Garst and her husband, Todd, of Blanchard; his daughter-in-law, Cecily Smith of Newcastle; six grandchildren, Aaron Tucker, Austin Tucker, Kaitlyn Garst, Brianna Garst, Ciera Garst, and Delani Garst; his father, Earl Tucker of Blanchard; his sister, Melinda Tucker of Blanchard; and his twin brother, Fred Tucker and his wife, Rhonda, of Oklahoma City; special uncle and aunt, Earl and Karen Smith of Blanchard; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other loved ones and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 23, 2014 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M at the funeral home. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Newcastle. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery.
