LuNell was the daughter of Samuel and Mary Gretta (Combs) Tankersley, born September 21, 1939 east of Blanchard. She graduated from Blanchard High School in 1957. LuNell took care of her mother for many years and several aunts and uncles. She was a very loving and caring lady who loved the Lord greatly and had a very giving spirit.
LuNell was preceded in death by her parents and only brother, Dickie Dan, and all her aunts and uncles.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Verna, several cousins and many friends. She will be greatly missed.
LuNell said she didn’t want a long service because she had already preached her service in life.
Services for LuNell will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard with interment in the Blanchard Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity, so it will do good for others needing help in this world.
