The son of R.C. and Bonnie Sullivan he was born July 27, 1929 in Atwood, Oklahoma. Upon graduation from high school he was drafted into the U.S. Army and performed his service at Fort Lee, Virginia. He then went on to graduate from the University of Oklahoma with a BBA in economics and business. He spent many years working with NCR in sales. On April 12, 1957, Lloyd married the love of his life, Maxine Brooks and they shared 54 years of marriage before her death in 2012.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, a brother, Cletus, who lost his life in WWII while defending our country, and brothers-in-law, J.C. Sparks, Bill Dalton, and Monty Brooks.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Tammy Sullivan of Austin, Texas and Sherri Farmer and husband, James: grandson, Jordan Farmer; and granddaughter, Katie Farmer, all of Crawford, Texas; a brother, Lynn Sullivan and wife, Betty, of Oklahoma City; a sister, Letha Jo Sparks of Oklahoma City; a brother-in-law, Jack Brooks and wife, Wynona, of Oklahoma City; sisters-in-law, Jean Brooks, Ramah Lee Viera and Myrna Brooks, several nieces, nephews and many other loved ones and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Nolan and the staff at Scott and White Hospital for their tender care and compassion given to our father and grandfather.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel of Blanchard with Rene’ Maciel officiating. Interment will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jordan Farmer, Katie Farmer, James Farmer, Kennedy Sullivan, Bryce Hutchens, and Tyler Hutchens. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
