Thomas Eugene Shipp, Sr., age 91, was born in Omaha Nebraska on April 20, 1932 to Bill and Flora Shipp. He moved to Oklahoma when he was an infant.
Thomas was married to Barbara Shipp for 54 years.
Thomas was a family man. He was always there to help if in need. His hobbies were fishing, camping, and cock fighting. He will be remembered as a very hard worker and loving man. Thomas always put family first. He was a jack of all trades. He was a butcher, appliance man, frame carpenter, painter, and roofer. He owned and operated Shipp’s Roofing.
Thomas loved life and was a God-fearing man. When Thomas was created his mold was broke. May he be in a better place with no suffering and no pain. Please embrace him and comfort him. He will be missed.
Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Bill Shipp; mother, Flora Shipp Carter; sister, Wanda Courtney; and brother, Melvin Shipp.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Barbara Shipp; sons, Thomas Shipp, Jr. and wife Charlotte and Billy Shipp and wife Tracy Shipp; four grandchildren, Desiree and Charlie Armstrong, Dillon Shipp, Garrett Shipp and Abigail Shipp; three great grandchildren, Teagan Armstrong, Piper Armstrong, and Tatum Armstrong.
