Doris June Savill, 88, of Newcastle, died Friday, March 22, 2019, in Norman, Oklahoma. The daughter of Emmett Paul Papin and Dorothy Opal (Wilcoxson) Papin, she was born July 11, 1930, in Oklahoma City.
Doris married Ronnie Savill in Gainesville, Texas. She was a homemaker and was Christian in faith. In her spare time, she enjoyed raising chihuahuas and shopping.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronnie Savill; one son, David Patterson; one daughter, Kathy Stanley; three brothers, Emmett Paul Papin, Jr., Billy Waxler, and Sonny Papin; and one sister, Dorothy Ann Knight.
Doris is survived by one daughter, Dianna Carroll and husband, Ben, of Texas; one son-in law, Kevin Stanley of Newcastle; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Judy Dockery of Choctaw, and Patty Burwell and husband, Jimmy, of Moore; one brother, Robert Neal Papin of Nevada; her caregivers, Amy Zimmerman and Robert St. Clair of Newcastle; and many other loved ones and friends.
Graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, March 29, 2019, in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
