Carolyn Dianne Robertson, 66, of Blanchard, died Monday,
September 5, 2016, at her home. She was born August 20, 1950, in Delhi,
Louisiana.
Dianne married James Leonard Robertson on April 26, 1969, in Tishomingo,
Oklahoma. She worked as a substitute teacher for many years but was mainly a
homemaker. She was a member of Harvest Church in Norman for over 25 years and
was very faithful to serve in any capacity needed at the church. Dianne had a
true servant’s heart and was always doing things for others in need. In her
spare time, she enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking and sewing. Her presence
will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie Jean Fife Dixon.
Dianne is survived by her husband, James L. Robertson of Blanchard, her
daughter, Jeana Robertson of Norman; her uncle and aunt, Luther and Mary Fife of
Arkansas; cousins, Ace Fife and Angel Fife, both of Louisiana; and many other
loved ones and friends.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, September 9, 2016, at Harvest
Church in Norman. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are
under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and
