Kenneth Dewain Riley, 76, of Blanchard, died Wednesday, April 15, 2015,
at his home. The son of Jesse Claude Riley and Clara Gracie (Morris)
Riley, he was born January 12, 1939 in Cement, Oklahoma. He graduated
from Cement High School in 1957. He married his high school sweetheart,
Pat Crimmins, on June 10, 1957 in Fletcher, Oklahoma.
Kenneth worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator and
supervisor for the Indian Nation Turnpike. He and his family owned and
operated Riley’s Sno-Cone Stand in Blanchard for 22 years. He was former
McClain County Commissioner, Municipal Judge, and City Council member.
In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, woodworking,
and building furniture.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter; Gayle (Riley)
Dewbre; two sisters, Beulah Yale and Delpha Rumsey; two brothers, Jack
Riley and Billy Dale Riley; sisters-in-law, Bertha Riley and Barbara
Riley; and brother-in-law, Jack Yale.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Riley, of Blanchard; one daughter, Karyn
Wilson and her husband, Bill, of Frisco, Texas; one son, Ken Riley of
Norman; son-in-law, Wayne Dewbre of Blanchard; two grandchildren, Jenna
Adkins and her husband, Eric, of Las Vegas, Nevada and Jesse Wilson of
Nacogdoches, Texas; one brother, Gary Riley and his wife, Shara Michael,
of Lexington; one sister-in-law, Maxine Riley, of Bridge Creek; his
favorite furry friends, Bella, Toven, and Duke; and many other loved
ones and friends.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 18, 2015, at
the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Cremation arrangements
are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online
