She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim Rich; a granddaughter, Leah Katrine Rich; two brothers, John Wesley Brooks, III, and Billy Joe Brooks; and a nephew, Jason Brooks.
Barbara is survived by two daughters, Vickie Yearwood of Blanchard, and Melissa Yearwood of Moore; two sons, Mark Cary of Minco, and Derrick Rich of Lone Grove; six grandchildren, Brittne Sharry of Blanchard, Tanner Sharry and wife, Melissa, of Weatherford, Trevor Sharry and wife, April, of Oklahoma City, Jorden Rich, Matthew Rich, and Elizabeth Rich, all of Lone Grove; four great grandchildren, Ethan and Chloe Sharry of Oklahoma City, and Faith and Dawson Sharry of Weatherford; six sisters, Peggy Wharton and husband, Don, of Conway, Arkansas, Sandy Starks and husband, Charles, of Wanette, Vivian Phillips and husband, Ray, of Vian, Teresa Workman and husband, Justin, of Gore, Lula Garvin and husband, Steve, of Sallisaw, and Shawn Cook and husband, Danny, of Vian; two brothers, John Brooks and wife, Lisa, of Gore, and Jake Brooks and wife, Edora, of Talihina; two sisters-in-law, Pat Brooks of Vian, and Twana Nadeau of Earlsboro; numerous nieces and nephews, and many other loved ones and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery.
