Marvin served in the U.S. Army and worked for many years in construction as a carpenter superintendent. He married Joyce Pearl Shaw on July 29, 1950 in Purcell, Oklahoma. Marvin enjoyed playing dominoes, growing vegetables in his garden, fishing, and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Geneva Price and Eva Colquitt; and a great grandson, Cache Morris.
Marvin is survived by his wife of 63 years, Joyce Price, of Cole; one daughter, Kathy Davidson and husband, Butch, of Cole; five grandchildren, Jennifer Smith of Washington, Laramy Morris and wife, Casie, of Cole, Karly Morris and husband, Danny Childress, of Cole, Louis Davidson of Norman, and T.J. Davidson of Cole; six great grandchildren, Braxton and Lexi Smith, Hayvn and Cage Morris, Journey Childress and Kiley Davidson; one sister, Margie Hill and husband, R.J., of Sulphur; and many other loved ones and friends.
Graveside service and burial will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, October 17, 2013 at the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home in Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh
