Geneva Aline (Bussey) Pearcy, 75, of Blanchard, died, Monday, February
23, 2015, in Norman. The daughter of John Lee Bussey and Lillie Bell (Townley)
Bussey, she was born June 11, 1939 in Konawa, Oklahoma. Aline worked for
many years as a mental health aide at Griffin Memorial Hospital and was
a member of First Baptist Church in Blanchard. In her spare time, she
enjoyed crocheting, quilting, gardening, and canning. Aline was an
excellent cook and loved preparing food for her family and friends. Her
specialty was her hot rolls and cinnamon rolls.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy Pearcy; a
granddaughter, Sara Marie Pearcy; and two brothers, Johnny Bussey and
Reuben “Bud” Bussey.
Aline is survived by two daughters, Norene Moore and husband, Steven, of
Blanchard, and Linda Bloomstadt and husband, Kurt, of Tushka; two sons,
James Pearcy of Blanchard, and Glenn Pearcy of Blanchard; eight
grandchildren, James Pearcy, Jr. and wife, Lisa, of Chickasha, Chealsa
LeAnn Pearcy of Bridge Creek, Chris Moore and wife, Heather, of Florida,
Jennifer Brezinka and husband, Ross, of Geronimo, Michael Bloomstadt of
Tushka, Josiah Bloomstadt of Tushka, Katherine Pearcy of Blanchard and
Luke Pearcy of Blanchard; twelve great grandchildren; three brothers,
George Nealon Bussey and wife, Mary, of Noble, Jerry Bussey and wife,
Treva, of Blanchard, and Jeral Bussey and wife, Paula, of McAlester; one
sister-in-law, Wanda Bussey of McAlester; one brother-in-law, Deloyd
Wallis of Oklahoma City; and many other loved ones and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 26, 2015
at First Baptist Church in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the
Blanchard Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Blanchard
First Baptist Church Building Fund. Arrangements are under the direction
of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook
