Roy Lee “Sonny” Papin, 81, of Clinton, died March 15, 2015 in
Clinton, Oklahoma.
The son of Emmett Paul Papin and Dorothy Opal (Wilcoxson) Papin, he was born May
19, 1933 in Oklahoma City.
Sonny served in the U.S. Army and worked many years as a truck driver. He was
Catholic in faith. Sonny enjoyed old cars and riding motorcycles.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Emmett Paul Papin, Jr.
and Billy Waxler; and one sister, Dorothy Ann Knight.
He is survived by his three daughters, Ingrid Michelle Lowrance of Texas, Angie
Papin of Texas, and Kathy Papin of Oregon; two sons, Roy Lee Papin, Jr. and
Ricky Papin, both of Oregon; several grandchildren; three sisters, Doris Savill
of Newcastle, Judy Dockery of Choctaw, and Patty Burwell of Moore; one brother,
Robert Neal Papin of Nevada; and many other loved ones and friends.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at the Eisenhour
Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Interment will follow in the Blanchard
Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of
