Susan Kay Myers, 59, of Newcastle, died Saturday, February 1, 2020, in Norman. The daughter of Willard Eason Beaty and Dolores Laverne (Faller) Beaty, she was born February 11, 1960, in Oklahoma City.
Susan married David Eral Myers on July 20, 1979, in Newcastle and was Christian in faith. She worked for many years as an accounts payable clerk until her health no longer allowed. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, doing crossword puzzles, and taking care of her fur babies. Susan’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Willard Eason; a nephew, Brent Bristol; and a sister-in-law, Diana Faye Myers.
Susan is survived by her mother, Dolores Beaty of Newcastle; her husband of 40 years, David Myers of Newcastle; one son, Phillip Myers and wife, Joycelyn, of Blanchard; two daughters, Keasha Wagahoff and husband, Jason, of Raymond, Illinois; and Jenny Haines and husband, David, of Blanchard; nine grandchildren, Summer, Autumn, Noel, Wyatt, Ben, Allie, Isaac, Layla, and Khaleesi; three sisters, Carol Stier and husband, Ken, of Guthrie, Delia Bristol and husband, Wayne, of Newcastle, and Terri Bates and husband, Kerry, of Newcastle; three brothers, Gary Beaty and wife, Betty, of Cashion, Mark Beaty and wife, Carrie, of LeFlore, and Jeff Beaty and wife, Amy, of Verdigris; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, February 7, 2020, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard.
Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
