Albert Curtis Mahurin, 82, of Blanchard, died Thursday, June 13, 2019, at his home. The son of Hezy Car Mahurin and Margaret Zula (Graham) Mahurin, he was born May 10, 1937 in Dibble, Oklahoma.
Curtis drove a city bus in Oklahoma City and retired after 22 years of service. He was Assembly of God in faith. Curtis married Linda Carol Atteberry on May 10, 1988 in Oklahoma City. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching sports, especially OU Football and Oklahoma City Thunder Basketball.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Lena Mae Middlebrook; one brother, Wesley Harris; and a daughter-in-law, Brandy Palmer.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Linda Mahurin of Blanchard; one daughter, Lindeana Marmolejo of Oklahoma City; one son, Gregory Palmer of Blanchard; six grandchildren, Tasha Kepplin and her husband, Karl, of Bridge Creek, Christina Marmolejo of Oklahoma City, J.D. Ong of Edmond, Cheyenne Palmer of New York, Leighanna Palmer of New York, and Autumn Palmer of New York; four great grandchildren, Colby, Kayle, Shya, and Harlow; one sister, Pauline Wooten and her husband, Jerry, of Oklahoma City; one brother, Murl Harris and his wife, Wanda, of Bethany; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, June 17, 2019, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard.
Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
