Mary Ellen (Glover) Livingston, 74, of Newcastle, died Tuesday, March 24, 2020,
at her home. The daughter of Bobby Ray Glover and Louise Imogene (Rard) Glover,
she was born April 15, 1945 in Oklahoma City.
Mary married Delbert Lee Livingston on January 25, 1964, in Newcastle. She was a
longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Newcastle. Mary worked as an
assembly line worker for Bunt Candy, Love Glove, Diamond Salt Company and later
General Motors. She retired from General Motors in the paint department assembly
after 26 years of service. In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing, traveling,
gardening, sewing, and quilting. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time
with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter, Jessica Ann Reed;
and one sister, Judy Chappell.
Mary is survived by her husband of 56 years, Delbert Livingston, of Newcastle;
one daughter, Marsha Reed and her husband, Jim, of Poteau; two sons, Michael
Livingston and his wife, Tammy, of Edmond, and Bryan Livingston and his wife,
Jennyfer, of Newcastle; thirteen grandchildren, Alicia Reed, Rachel Reed, Hannah
Reed, Mary Jones and her husband, Jarred, Austin Livingston, Ashylnn Livingston,
Robert Livingston, Colby Livingston, Logan Livingston, Hannah Arbuthnot, Rachel
Arbuthnot, Ashley Arbuthnot, and Kyle Arbuthnot; three sisters, Shirley Green
and her husband, Tommy, of Oklahoma City, Molly Jack and her husband, Gayle, of
Harrah, and Kathy Brock and her husband, Tommy, of Oklahoma City; one aunt, June
Rard of Oklahoma City; and one uncle, William Rard of Oklahoma City; and many
other loved ones and friends.
Viewing for family and friends will be from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, March
26, 2020, at the funeral home.
Due to government regulations regarding the COVID
19 Pandemic, a private graveside and burial will be held on Friday, March 27,
2020, at the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of
Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
