Charles David Lee, 78, of Kaufman, Texas, formerly of Blanchard, died, Friday, June 8, 2018, in Dallas, Texas. The son of Virgil Leonard Lee and Lela Mable (Price) Lee, he was born September 7, 1939, in Blanchard. David grew up in the area and graduated from Newcastle High School.
David was a member of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas. He worked as a loan officer for Bank of America for many years before retiring. In his spare time, David enjoyed being outdoors and working in his yard.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
David is survived by one daughter, Christie Lee, and one grandson, Nathan Lee, both of Coppell, Texas; his former wife, Shirley Lee of Coppell, Texas; one sister, Delta Faerber and her husband, Paul, of Oklahoma City; one brother, Robert Lee of Tuttle; and many other loved ones and friends.
Graveside funeral service and burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
