Bobby Don Lee, 65, of Newcastle, Oklahoma died on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, in Newcastle. The son of Robert Don Lee and Erna ((Bass) Lee, Bobby was born on January 26, 1958, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Bobby was a lifelong farmer helping his Granddad, Virgil Lee with his dairy cows long before purchasing the farm from in the 1980’s. Bobby traded the dairy cows for raising beef cattle in the early 2000’s. Bobby was President of Future Farmers of America in high school, participated in local Newcastle community activities and sat for a spell as President of the regional farmers bureau association. Bobby was well respected for his bovine bravado. Bobby will be dearly missed by many across our community and families.
Bobby was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernest and Delora Bass; Virgil and Lela Lee; his parents Robert and Erna Lee, younger brother Rickey Lee all of Newcastle, Oklahoma.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 25 years, Connie (Burk) Lee of Newcastle; brother Lonnie Lee (Anne-Marie) of Keller, TX; stepchildren Blane Rosson and Bana Rosson, step-grandchildren: Jayden (Clayton) Estus, Regan Rosson (husband), Caleigh Gay, Jayce, and Jeryn Phelan; great-grandchild Jennings Estus; Aunt Delta Lee (Paul) Faerber; Uncle Jerry Don (Sue) Bass; cousins: Jerry Lynn Bass, Steven Bass, Keith Faerber and Brent Faerber; nieces Alex Lee Hill (Dylan), Abigail Lee; nephew, Andrew Lee, and family friend Christy Farrow.
Viewing will be from 12:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at Eisenhour Funeral Home in Blanchard. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at Newcastle First Baptist Church with a Christian burial following in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard, Oklahoma.
