Henry Harrison Lancaster, Jr., 68, of Blanchard, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023, in Norman.
The son of Henry Harrison “Hank” Lancaster, Sr. and Anna Laura (Buchanan) Lancaster, he was born November 21, 1954, in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Henry lived in Oklahoma City when he was young, and moved to Newcastle his sophomore year of high school and graduated from Newcastle High School. Before moving to Blanchard in 2016, Henry lived in Oklahoma City, Mississippi, and Florida.
Henry served in the Army Reserves and enjoyed working as a diesel mechanic. Henry also worked for Kitty’s Chicken, which was a chicken processing company that his parents owned and operated in Tuttle. Henry loved working with wood and making all kinds of stuff that he sold at the craft fair at the Methodist Church. He also enjoyed fishing in his younger years. Most of all, Henry loved family gatherings, especially at the holidays and birthdays.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Deanna; and brother, Stephen Douglas Lancaster.
Henry is survived by his son, Chad Lancaster of Florida; daughter, Deedra Lancaster of Oklahoma City; nine grandchildren; one sister, Lisa Myers and her husband, Jacky, of Blanchard; brother, William Lancaster and his wife, Jayne, of Blanchard; several nieces, nephews, and many other loved ones and friends.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
