Nicky Raye Kerr, age 64 of Tuttle, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, October 30, 2020.
Nick was born July 10, 1956 in Okla. City, Oklahoma, the older of 2 children born to Troyce Raye Kerr and Treefa Jo (Griffiths) Kerr. He was raised in Moore and attended school there, graduating with the Lion’s Class of 1974. Nick then attended Spartan College in Tulsa, where he earned an Associate’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering. Nick met a young lady from Newcastle named Cheryl Neuenswander and they were married on May 30, 1980 at Newcastle First Church of the Nazarene. They moved to South Fork, CO, where they raised 3 sons, Tory, Trever and Tyler. Nick had joined the family business, Mountain Energy, and he loved living in the Rockies. Nick loved cars, tinkering on and even racing them when younger. He was an avid sports fan, and in particular baseball, he was a big Colorado Rockies fan. Nick’s greatest joy was his family. He worked hard to provide for their every need, and he loved spending time with his boys. He was a wonderful husband and father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. He will be dearly missed!
He was preceded in death by: his father, Troyce Kerr.
Nicky is survived by: his wife, Cheryl of the home; his boys, Tory Kerr and (Beth) of Helena, Montanna, Trever Kerr and (Rian) of Nashville, Tennessee and Tyler Kerr and (Julia) of Pagosa Springs, Colorado; his mother, Treefa Kerr of Moore; sister Trelynda Kerr and (Kymmr Barker) of Rehobeth, Virginia; Step mother, Frances Kerr of Choctaw; six grandchildren, Theran, McKenzie, Ruby, Jasper, Gracie and Haven, and a host of other family and friends
Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Saturday, at Tuttle Church of the Nazarene. Burial will follow at the Blanchard Cemetery. Send online condolences @ www.wilsonlittle.com.
