Peggy Louise Hill, 84, of Blanchard, died Wednesday, March 4, 2020, in Norman.

The daughter of Dennis Ray “Dink” McKinney and Bessie (Thompson) McKinney, she was born June 22, 1935 in Blanchard, Oklahoma.

Peggy married Alfred David “Pete” Hill on May 28, 1954 in Cole, Oklahoma. She worked as a proof operator for many years for Security National Bank and was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Blanchard. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting, gardening, and working in her flower beds. She was a great cook and everyone especially enjoyed her coconut cream and lemon meringue pies.


She was preceded in death by her parents.


Peggy is survived by her husband, Alfred “Pete” Hill of Blanchard; one daughter, Debra Thomas and her husband, Joe, of Blanchard; two sons, David Hill and his wife, Karen, of Duncan and Kendall Hill and his wife, Gina, of Blanchard; six grandchildren, Shane Hill and his wife, Crystal, of Bray; Natasha Lorenzo and her husband, Scott, of Bixby, Alexandra Thomas of Edmond, Lance Thomas of Edmond, Lee Hill of San Angelo, Texas, and Ryan Hill of Blanchard; five great-great grandchildren, Nicholas Hill, Jacob Hill, Emilia Lorenzo, Elise Lorenzo, and Wesley Lorenzo; two sisters, Ramona Hurd of Blanchard, and Dee Ann Neal and her husband, Jim, of Blanchard; one brother, Jimmy McKinney and his wife, Margaret, of Blanchard; and many other loved ones and friends.
 

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 7, 2020, at the First Baptist Church in Blanchard.

Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made in Peggy’s name to the Blanchard First Baptist Church Building Fund. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
