Neal was a veteran of the United States Navy and served 17 years in active duty and naval reserves. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. He was a very loyal and proud patriot of the United States.
He enjoyed RVing and panning for gold. His stories and experiences could last a lifetime.
Neal is preceded in death by his parents David and Ola Hill; his first wife and baby, Elinda and David Neal Hill II; his second wife Shirley; and two sets of grandparents, Charles and Leatha Hill and Omer and Annabel White; and aunt and uncle Bertha and Harold O’Dell.
He leaves behind his son Destry; his sister and her husband, Anita and John Stacy; two nephews and their wives, John and Heather Stacy and Denny and Marianne Stacy; five nephews and nieces, Jacob, Kathryn, Daniel, Anna and Brayden Stacy; two aunts Nadine Phillips and husband, Harry, and Verna Pickard; seven cousins, Teddy and Phyllis Pickard, Jerry and Brenda Pickard, Lauri and Billy Hammon, Charles and Connie, Caroline, Janie and Tom O’Dell; and many other family and friends.
Neal worked at and retired from the United States Post Office with 35 years of service and then went to work for the Blanchard Building Center. He had a deep and undying love for his family and friends and he will he will be sorely missed.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, August 1, 2013 at First Baptist Church in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online guestbook and obituary are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
