Sally Maye (Cunningham) Hibdon, 81, formerly of Blanchard, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023, in Edmond. The daughter of William Marion and Dessie Viola (Eason) Cunningham, she was born on December 23, 1941, in Oklahoma City.

Sally married Neal Hibdon on February 5, 1968, in Gainesville, Texas. Sally grew up in Oklahoma City and attended Moore Public Schools. She was a hard-working woman who always did whatever she could to take care of her kids and family. Sally went to a business school in Oklahoma City. When her kids were young, she worked as a manager at Braums and at Braswell Freight. She was also quite the entrepreneur, running her own clothing and beauty salon in Try City in the late 70’s and early 80’s called Butterfly Boutique. Sally was a long-time Mary Kay consultant, and she was the co-founder of Hibdon Tires. One of her favorite jobs was working at DeMarge Travel where she was able to enjoy traveling all over the world. She also worked for a short time at the Newcastle Casino.

Sally was always there to help care for others. She took her father into her home while she was caring for four young children to take care of him during his last days. She also cared for Neal in the home until his passing. She loved reading, traveling, but most of all spending time with her family, including her siblings, kids, and grandchildren.

Sally is survived by one daughter, Twyla Conder and husband, Nathan, of Edmond; three sons, Randy Baker and wife, Kelly, of Piedmont, John Hibdon and wife, Teresa, of Blanchard Curtis Hibdon and wife, Lisa, of Pennsylvania; one daughter-in-law, Shelly Hibdon and her husband of Blanchard; 15 grandchildren, Tiffany, Nate, Ian, Emilia, Addison, Annalyse, Elijah, Craig Allen, Misty Dawn, Harvest, Rex, Chad, Amanda, Jeremy, and Stephanie; several great grandchildren, one brother, Hershel Cunningham and wife Verna of Moore; three sisters, Laura Murphy and husband Pastor Jim Murphy of Readfield, Maine, Marha Hill of Moore, and Juanita Ross of Norman; a host of nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.

The family would like to thank Bristol Hospice for their care and support.
