Richard Allen Hector, 59, of Blanchard, died Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at his home. The son of Harvey Leon Hector and Frances Cecelia (Favazza) Hector, he was born September 14, 1961 in Memphis, Tennessee.
Richard married Charlotte Jane Pellegrin on April 27, 1984 in Oklahoma City. He worked for many years as a directional driller in the oilfield. In his spare time, he enjoyed being outdoors, camping and fishing. Richard loved traveling and going on family vacations. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Deb George.
Richard is survived by his wife, Charlotte Hector, of Blanchard; one daughter, Jinny Mainus and her husband, Brad, of Blanchard; one son, Derrick Hector and his wife, Cassidy, of Mustang; five grandchildren, Peyton Hector, Avery Hector, Noah Mainus, Jason Mainus, and David Mainus; one sister, Trisha Hardin and her husband, Jack, of Tennessee; one brother, David “Bubba” Hector and his wife, Tina, of Tennessee; one brother-in-law, Eddie George of Mississippi; and many other loved ones and friends.
Graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, January 18, 2021, at the Blanchard Cemetery in Blanchard. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
