Raymond Lee Hay, 74, of Criner, died Saturday, February 7, 2015, in
Purcell. The son of Leonard Hay and Frances Viola (McHargue) Hay, he was
born January 20, 1941 in Sulphur, Oklahoma and was Church of Christ in
faith. He married Jacquella Lee Jones on December 2, 1961 in Warr Acres,
Oklahoma. Raymond worked for Lucent as a system tester and retired after
41 years of service. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing golf and
watching OU football and Thunder basketball. His greatest enjoyment came
from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Tommy and Ernie;
one sister, Linda Ruth; one sister-in-law, Janie; and a brother-in-law,
Coy.
Raymond is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jacquella Hay of Criner;
one daughter, Stacy Hay of Criner; one son, Ryan Hay and wife, Melanie,
of Austin, Texas; three grandchildren, Austin Hay of Austin, Texas,
Megan Hensley of Criner, and Caitlin Hensley of Criner; one sister,
Betty (Hay) Brownfield of Newalla; nephew, Ricky Don; niece, Jana;
numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Graveside service and burial will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 10,
2015, at the Blanchard Cemetery in Blanchard. Arrangements are under the
direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and
