Wanda Lee Harris, 85, of Bethany, died Saturday, December 7, 2019, in Oklahoma City. The daughter of Claude Clay Wright and Syble Ida (Moon) Wright, she was born June 14, 1934, in Cole, Oklahoma.
 

Wanda married Murl Car Harris on July 15, 1962, in Denton, Texas. She worked for many years as an administrative assistant at Dub Richardson Ford in Oklahoma City. She was a member of Peniel Missionary Baptist Church in Bethany. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting and collecting coffee cups from all over the United States. Wanda was a great cook and everyone loved her Italian cream cheese cake, banana pudding, and her turkey and dressing. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a caring grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sons, Weldon Ray “Shorty” Harris and Wendell Clay Harris.
 

Wanda is survived by her husband of 57 years, Murl Harris of Bethany; one daughter, Delona Archer of California; two daughters-in-law, Teresa Edwards of Cement and Jackie Harris of Missouri; nine grandchildren, Christopher Archer and wife, Rachel, of California, Andrea Pressler and husband, Ryan, of California, Adrienne Jones and husband, Travis, of Oregon, Angela Monroe and husband, Todd, of California, Faith Pettigrew and husband, John, of Oklahoma City, Caleb Harris and wife, Ashley, of Choctaw, Roger Apel and wife, Ashley, of Missouri, Shane Harris and wife, Daphne, of Missouri, and Terra Rasico of Missouri; nine great grandchildren; one brother, Claude Eugene Wright and his wife, Eddie Jo, of Oklahoma City; one nephew, Kelley Wright and his wife, Beverly, of Edmond; and many other loved ones and friends.
 

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 12, 2019, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard.

Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
