Stanley Romaine Harms, 89, of Newcastle, died Thursday, June 27, 2024, in Oklahoma City. The son of Albert Harms and Rosa (Cross) Harms, he was born July 16, 1934, in Cozad, Nebraska.

Stan was a veteran of the United States Air Force, where he worked as an aircraft mechanic and retired after 20 years of service. He married Leona Jane Pidcoe on May 2, 1957, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In his spare time, Stan enjoyed riding motorcycles and watching television. He especially enjoyed watching western movies and NASCAR races. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Rebecca Harms; a son-in-law, Carlton Campbell; one sister, Alice Gates; and two brothers, Norvin Harms and Laverne Harms.

Stan is survived by his wife of 67 years, Leona Harms of Newcastle; two daughters, Etta Shultz of Nebraska, and Evelyn Campbell of Oklahoma City; one granddaughter, Erica Board of California; and many other loved ones and friends.

Graveside service with military honors will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, July 1, 2024, in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
