Charles Chester Hall, 94, of Catoosa, formerly of Blanchard, died Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at his home.
The son of William McKinley Hall and Iva Maude (Meeks) Hall, he was born March 15, 1924 in Heavener, Oklahoma. He attended Heavener School, CCC Camp and graduated from Stockton Junior College in 1958. He was a veteran of the US Navy and served in the Seabees during World War II and was honorably discharged on March 4, 1947. Charles married Thelma Smith on January 3, 1948 in Modesto, California. He lived in Stockton, California for 11 years and moved to Heavener in 1959 and then moved to Oklahoma City where he was employed at FAA and retired in 1980. They moved to Blanchard in 1961 and have lived in Catoosa for the last several years to be close to their daughter. Charles was saved in October 1947 while living in Stockton, California. He was a member of the Airport Assembly of God for many years. The last 12 years of his life he was a member of Westside Holiness Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; two sisters; and one son, Jerry Hall.
Charles is survived by his wife of 70 years, Thelma Hall of Catoosa, OK; one daughter, Brenda Carter and her husband, Jim, of Catoosa, OK; five grandchildren, Amy Baker of Euless, TX, Josh Hall and his wife, Jessica, of Yukon, OK, Neisha Tipton and her husband, Vance, of Catoosa, OK, Cecily Meadow and her husband, Douglas, of Bristow, OK, Jill Brock and her husband, Ben, of Prague, OK; thirteen great-grandchildren; and many other loved ones and friends.Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com
