Lillian Ruth (Saylors) Griffin, 91, of Tuttle, died Friday, April 26, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The daughter of Leonard Brock Saylors and Ida Bell (Prewitt) Saylors, she was born August 29, 1932, in Lindsay, Oklahoma.
Ruth worked as a seamstress for a drapery company for many years until her retirement. She was Baptist in faith. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and making various types of crafts. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Griffin; two sons, Terry Buchanan and Gary Buchanan; one brother, Lewis Saylors; and two brothers-in-law, Larry Taylor and Dr. Alan Ross.
Ruth is survived by two sons, Larry Buchanan and Kathy Blackburn of Newalla, and Ron Buchanan of Tuttle; four sisters, Barbara Taylor of Elgin, Judy Norton and husband, Wayne, of Mustang, Kathy Ellithorp and husband, Robert, of Lindsay, and Lolita Ross of Florida; one sister-in-law, Dee Saylors of Arkansas; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 2, 2024, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery.
