Deborah Kay “G-Ma” Funderburk, 68, of Blanchard, died Monday, April 22, 2024, in Norman, Oklahoma. The daughter of Elgie Lawrence Hall, Sr. and Shirley Dee (Blankenship) Hall, she was born April 17, 1956, in Fort Chaffee, Arkansas.

Debbie married Larry Edward Funderburk on April 17, 1981, in Oklahoma City. She worked as the plant manager for Matador for 28 years and then went to work as the office manager for Womack Auto Sales in Norman. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Blanchard where she previously served as a Sunday School teacher. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and was very involved with the Blanchard Chamber of Commerce, where she served as an officer on the board. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, gardening, playing bingo and going to the casino. Her greatest enjoyment came from being “G-Ma” to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She cherished any time she could spend with them and attended countless ballgames and school events. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Kenny Hall, Elgie Hall, Jr., and Ronnie Lentz; a niece, Tamera Stallings; and cousins, Brad Hall and Leanna Bright.

Debbie is survived by her beloved Jack Russell Terrier, Bo; her husband of 43 years, Larry Funderburk of Blanchard; two daughters, Missy Phares of Blanchard, and Jessica Jernigan and her husband, Joe, of Blanchard; four sons, Andy Funderburk and his fiancée, Terrie Birdsong, of Del City, Luke Funderburk and his wife, Amanda, of Yukon, Lee Funderburk and his wife, Sarah, of Blanchard, and Doug Funderburk of Oklahoma City; fourteen grandchildren, Logan, Kevin, Savanna, Jaci, Mattie, EmiLee, Jessica, Garen, Ethan, Zoey, Blake, Max, Lauren, and Macie; five great grandchildren, Lexlynn, LuvLee, Parker, Ryder, and Landry, and one more on the way; two sisters, Rhonda Stallings and her husband, Pat, of Shawnee, and Kathy Tackett and her husband, Jim, of Loveland, Colorado; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard with Rev. Ray Sims officiating. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery.
