Pauline Faye Franklin, 86, of Purcell, died Saturday, January 18, 2020, at her home. The daughter of Claude Lee Wilson and Bessie Mae (Dodd) Wilson, she was born September 21, 1933 in Blanchard, Oklahoma.
In her spare time, Faye enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family. She was a great cook and everyone always enjoyed her carrot cake and mashed potatoes and gravy. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Chris Franklin; a son, Jimmy Franklin; two grandsons, Brock Franklin and Steven Akerman; two brothers, Junior Wilson and Mutt Wilson; and two sisters, Irene Carter and Nona Staggs.
Faye is survived by two daughters, Linda Akerman and her husband, Steve, of Purcell and Patricia Franks of Purcell; one son, Jeff Franklin and his wife, Brenda, of Stroud; eight grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; one sister, Pearl Franklin of Kingfisher; one brother, Don Wilson and his wife, Phyllis, of Tribbey; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other loved ones and friends.
Graveside service will be held at 4:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at
the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour
Funeral Home of Blanchard.
