Frank James Dvorak Jr., beloved husband and adored father, passed away on August 17, 2015, at 84 years of age. Frank was born to Gladys Francis (Smith) and Frank James Dvorak Sr. on July 9, 1931, in Wichita, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Louella Ware Dvorak, his parents and a brother Donald Dvorak. His three daughters Suzanne Dvorak Rose, Kitty Anne Dvorak and Janie DiAnne Dvorak Compton and their families, survive him. He was the proud grandfather of three grandchildren, Jeremiah Thomas Rose, Bethany Summer Rose Lambert and Emily Laurel Rose; and two great-grandchildren, Phineas Rose and Clementine Lambert. Also surviving him are his sister, Mary Arlene Dvorak Simmon, and brothers Larry Dvorak and Jerry Dvorak.

Frank graduated from North High School in Wichita, Kansas and went on to earn both a B.S. of commerce (major in accounting with a minor in economics) and a M.B.A. (Graduate School Masters of Business Administration) from Louisiana State University. He also earned a M.Ed. in Educational Psychology from University of Oklahoma. Frank was a graduate of the National Civil Defense College in Battle Creek Michigan, a C.P.A. (Certified Public Accountant) and a Licensed Real Estate Broker. He was proud to have served his country in the United States Air Force and was a Korean and Vietnam War Veteran. Frank retired at the Rank of Lt.Col and held a Life Time Commission in the Air Force. His tenure in the USAF included serving as Air Force Academy Liaison Officer and Admissions Counselor. Frank was retired from his position as Chief of Accounting Division at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA Aeronautical Center). He was a member of Beta Alpha Psi (National Honorary Accounting Fraternity) and Delta Sigma Phi (National Business Fraternity). Frank moved to Norman in 1967 and to Blanchard in 1976. He enjoyed working on civic projects in Blanchard and served on the Blanchard Variance Zoning Board of Adjustment.

Family was important to Frank and he was a devoted husband and father. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Norman, Oklahoma. His interests were numerous and varied and he enjoyed golf, fishing, travel, reading, history, music, cars, trains and was an avid movie buff.

Frank will be missed dearly and will be most remembered for his antics and sense of humor. Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday August 21, 2015 at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Pastor Bob Gordon will officiate with interment held in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Frank to the Friends of Blanchard Library. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
