Patricia June "Pat" Davis, 75, of Blanchard, died Saturday, September 5, 2020, at her home. The daughter of Newton Bronell Simer and Elsie Darthulia (Cates) Simer, she was born March 16, 1945, in Union City, Oklahoma.
Pat married John Wesley Davis on October 11, 1962, in Gainesville, Texas. She was a stay at home wife, mother, grandmother and exceptional cook. Also during this time, she owned and operated her own beauty shop for a few years. She was a member of The First Baptist Church of Blanchard. In her spare time, she enjoyed working in her flower beds and gardening, feeding and watching the birds, sewing and she was a huge OU Football fan. Pat fed anyone who came through her doors and no one ever left hungry. She was very active in her family’s lives whether it be milking and feeding the cows with John or attending sports, FFA, 4-H and rodeos to watch her kids. She also enjoyed the lake and camping with her family. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Leroy Simer; and two sisters, Lois Hall and Gloria Jean Simer.
Pat is survived by her husband of 57 years, John Davis of Blanchard; one son, Johnny Davis and his wife, Debby, of Blanchard; two daughters, Dana Musselman and her husband, Scott, of Blanchard, and Danice Hayes of Blanchard; two grandchildren, Jonathan Davis and Ian Davis; four great grandchildren, Brilee, Bailey, Olivia, and Wesley; two sisters, Eva Ray of Blanchard, and Helen Wartchow of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Don Simer and his wife, Cathy, of Chickasha, and Dale Simer of Chickasha; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, September 11, 2020, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery.
