Carl Michael “Mike” Davis, 59, of Blanchard, died May 24, 2012 in Norman, Oklahoma. The son of Norma Lee (Taylor) and Carl Junior Davis, he was born on March 4, 1953 in Purcell, Oklahoma.

Mike served in the U.S. Navy and retired from the Moore Fire Department. He enjoyed playing golf and watching sports, especially the Texas Rangers and OU.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Carl Davis, and a brother, Steven Davis.

He is survived by his wife, Kim Davis of Blanchard; sons, Bryan Davis of Florida and Christopher Davis and wife Meghan of Wisconsin; daughter, Lindsay Davis of Blanchard; five grandchildren, Carlie, Leah, Mason, Hudson, and Chaelie; mother, Norma Davis of Norman; sister, Donna Brown and husband Dwight of Tryon; special friend, Matthew Showalter; nieces and nephews; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard with interment held in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
