Anita Martha Darling, 79 of Tuttle, formerly of Blanchard, died Sunday, September 15, 2019, in Tuttle. The daughter of Richard Alfred Eyrich and Elsie (Durkeck) Eyrich, she was born March 30, 1940, in Virginia, Illinois.
Anita worked for many years as a receiving manager for Wal-Mart until her retirement. She was a Baptist in faith. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and watching sports, especially the OKC Thunder and OU Sooners. She was a great cook and everyone always enjoyed her dressing at family gatherings. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roger Darling; and a son, Timothy Richard Eyrich.
Anita is survived by her two daughters, Tammy Hibser and her husband, Tony, of Illinois, and Benita Edwards and her husband, Kim, of Tuttle; five grandchildren, Brandy Raeuber, Timmy Eyrich, Jenelle Hibser, Jordan Hibser, all of Illinois, and Riley Edwards of Tuttle; six great grandchildren, Layne, Jaide, Sage, Kiana, Tyler, and Piper; one great-great granddaughter, Alaina; and many other loved ones and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 19, 2019, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard.
Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
