Richard Alan Clymer, 66, of Blanchard, died Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at his home. The son of Alfred Wesley and Betty June (Halsell) Clymer, he was born May 4, 1946 in Oklahoma City. Richard worked for many years as a supervisor for GM Sheet Metal. He was a proud member of Local 124 Sheet Metal Workers Union. He was a member of Cole First Baptist Church, where he served as Deacon and Sunday School teacher for many years. He enjoyed traveling, restoring motorcycles, and was a big fan of Elvis. Richard also volunteered many hours coaching Little League Softball, where many happy memories and lifelong friends were made.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Peggy Clymer; and a daughter, Shamen Wilson.

He is survived by one daughter, Patti Smith and husband Tom of Blanchard; one grandson, Justin Rogers and wife Kelly of Oklahoma City; one brother, Herman Clymer of Blanchard; and many other loved ones and friends. He will be greatly missed by many.

Funeral service will be at 10:00am, Friday, January 4, 2013 at Cole First Baptist Church with interment to follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com
