Michael Burley Choate, 55, of Newcastle, died Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at his home.

The son of John Paul Choate and Rose Ann (Blake) Choate, he was born October 2, 1959 in Ada, Oklahoma. Michael married Rebecca Dawn Thomas on June 19, 1998 in Newcastle. He worked as a lot manager for Bob Moore Auto Group and was a member of the Southern Hills Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. Michael liked classic cars and enjoyed watching OU and Dallas Cowboys football. Michael’s greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, his mother, and his son, Kristopher Choate.

Michael is survived by his wife, Rebecca Choate of Newcastle; one daughter, Ashley Choate of Warr Acres; one grandson, Dionté Anderson of Warr Acres; one sister, Laura Choate of Oklahoma City; his step-mother, Patricia A. Choate of Oklahoma City; and many other loved ones and friends.

Graveside service and burial will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, September 11, 2015 at the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
