Vivian Ledean (Robbins) Butler, 86, of Oklahoma City, died Tuesday, March 14, 2023, in Bethany, Oklahoma. The daughter of Thomas Jackson Robbins and Neley Katherine (McCarn) Robbins. she was born on May 2, 1936, in Snow, Oklahoma.

Ledean grew up in Snow, Oklahoma and attended Clayton High School. She married the love of her life, Clyde Darrell Butler, on November 24, 1954. They spent 48 beautiful years together until his passing in October of 2002. She was the mother of six beautiful children, five of which were born in Leadville, Colorado. Throughout her life, Ledean worked in childcare and even owned her own daycare. She loved nurturing children and especially enjoyed babies. Ledean lived in Blanchard from 1976 to 2014. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She served there by teaching Sunday school and working in the nursery. During her years in Blanchard, she and her husband had ten acres of land and always looked forward to having her grandchildren spend time at their home. In her spare time, she loved to fish anytime she had the opportunity. Ledean also enjoyed sewing and gardening. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clyde Darrell Butler, Sr.; one grandson, Derek Butler; brothers, Leroy, Orville “Mac,” Jewel, and Kelly; and sisters, Magada and Mildred.

Ledean is survived by her daughter, Cathy Suffridge of Oklahoma City; sons, Clyde Darrell Butler, Jr. of Westcliffe, CO, Tommy Dale Butler and wife Deanna of Marietta, Floyd Lynn Butler and wife Louann of Dover, AR, David Lee Butler and wife Delta of Oklahoma City, and Robert Gene Butler and wife Sonya of Blanchard; grandchildren, Dale Butler and wife Amanda, Aletha Butler, Sarah Smith and husband Heath, Devin Butler and wife Jayme, Dakaela Breton and husband Matt, Danetta Johnson and husband Jared, Zarabeth Butler, Aaron Butler, Susan Roberts and husband Timothy, Symantha Suffridge and Myra Suffridge; eighteen great grandchildren; one great, great granddaughter; three brothers, Wayne Robbins of Arizona, Jerry Don Robbins of Crescent, and Raymond Robbins of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Janie Heath of Antlers and Mary Abla of Crescent; and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family members.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, March 17, 2023 at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Blanchard, Oklahoma. Interment to follow in the Blanchard Cemetery.
