Mary Ellen (Robinson) Bussey, of Noble, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 29, 2019, surrounded by her daughters at her home. The daughter of Elbert Molina Robinson and Ola Ellen (Derflinger) Robinson, she was born August 21, 1939 in North Hampton, Ohio.
Mary was a resident of the area for the past 35 years, retiring from Norman Regional Hospital. Mary loved her family dearly. She shared a special bond with her daughters and granddaughters and adored her great-grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband George; her parents; brothers Donald, James, and William Robinson; and sister Evelyn "Gay" Horvatic.
She leaves behind daughters, Theresa Herbert (Dale) and Tia Crittenden (Rich McGee); granddaughters, Krista McKenzie (Robert Patton), Ashley McKenzie (Clint Hawkins), and Brittany Crittenden; great grandchildren, Richard Coker, Aaron Dearman, Aspen Holder, and Paisley Hawkins; brothers, Charles, Leroy and Howard Robinson; sisters, Betty Morris and Helen Knave; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She filled all our hearts with love and leaves a void that will never be replaced.
Graveside service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, August 31, 2019, at the Blanchard Cemetery in Blanchard. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
