Services for Samuel Sid Burris Jr were held Thursday , August 2, 1973 under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home with burial following in Blanchard Cemetery.
Samuel was born March 6, 1906 to Samuel Sydney Burris Sr and Florence Etta Hayes Burris and passed from this life on July 31, 1973 .
He married Mabel Curry on April 27, 1925 in Grady County Oklahoma.
He is survived by his wife Mabel; children Loretta, Wanda, Sidney, Joyce and Carline.
Preceding him in death was a son Tony Kenneth, who was killed in 1951 during the Korean War.
