Douglas Wayne “Doug” Bryce, 44, of Bridge Creek, OK passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at his home
Doug was born June 12, 1964 in Oklahoma City to Jack O. and Virginia Bryce. Raised in Oklahoma City and McLoud, Doug began working for Midwest City Police Department as a dispatcher in September of 1984. He became an officer and retired from the same force as a Corporal in September 2006. Doug then worked for OG&E as a security officer from October 2006 to present.
Doug married Jeanie Fallon on February 18, 1995 and enjoyed their 13 years together.
Preceded in death by: father, Jack O. Bryce and stepfather, Cecil Clinton.
Doug is survived by his wife, Jeanie Bryce; 2 daughters: Laura and Darby Bryce; mother, Virginia Clinton; brother: Jack Bryce and wife Lori; sisters: Theresa Mayo and husband Hugh, Maureen Shanta and husband C.J., and Gisele Bryce; mother-in-law, Jean Hines; sisters-in-law: Vicky Mann and husband Jesse, Terry Pollock and husband Stephen; Sherry Allen and husband Scot and Elizabeth Flatte; brother-in law, Michael Fallon and wife Kathy along with numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
The family would like to receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8pm Saturday, February 7. Services for Doug will be 2:00pm, Monday, February 9, 2009 at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Blanchard Cemetery.
