Lois Dean (Ooten) Boyd, 66, of Blanchard, died May 21, 2012 in Norman. The daughter of Lela(Stinson) and Charles Dean Ooten, she was born September 15, 1945 in Trenton, Texas.

Lois married Thomas Leon Boyd on August 27, 1991 in Oklahoma City. She enjoyed sewing, jigsaw puzzles, reading books, and crocheting, but her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Lois is preceded in death by her father; a son, Charles Crone; and two sisters, Vickie Elkins and Lila Chance.

She is survived by her husband, Tom Boyd of Dibble; sons, Thomas L. Crone and wife Tonya of El Reno and John Lee Crone of Blanchard; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; mother, Lela Ooten of Oklahoma City; brother, Billy Ooten of Oklahoma City; sisters, Judy Dunham of Oklahoma City and Selita Chandler and husband Robert of Moore; many other loved ones and friends.

Memorial service will be held at 2:30 P.M., Friday, May 25, 2012 at Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard with Reverend Greg Adams officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
