Gary married Rebecca Sue Gammon on January 8, 1966 in Sayre, Oklahoma. He was an Elementary School Principal for the Oklahoma City Public School District for nearly 30 years and was a member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Newcastle. In his spare time, Gary enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and spending time at Lake Texoma. He was a collector of many things, including watches, frogs, and ducks. Gary enjoyed going to garage sales to find his latest treasure. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his infant twin sister, Sharon Gwen Blevins; and a grandson, Logan Hodge.
Gary is survived by his wife, Becky Blevins, of Tuttle; one daughter, Michelle Kemery and her husband, Mike, of Norman; one granddaughter, Carly Hodge, of Blanchard; and many other loved ones and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, May 5, 2017 at Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Newcastle. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery.
