Phyllis Diane Moulin
October 10, 1955 - December 15, 2024
Phyllis Diane Moulin was born on October 10, 1955, in Wathena, Kansas, to James William Simpson and Vivian Lavone (Neeland) Fiest. She peacefully departed this life on December 15, 2024, at her home in Rose, Oklahoma, at the age of 69 years, 2 months, and 5 days.
Diane spent her early years in Wathena, Kansas, where she graduated from Wathena High School. On October 18, 1977, she married Roger Wayne Moulin, and together they built a life full of memories. The couple lived in Tulsa before making Rose, Oklahoma, their home in 1998.
Diane was known for her many passions and her vibrant personality. She loved crocheting, gardening, and sharing time with her cherished friends. Her greatest joy, however, came from her role as a devoted grandmother. Protective and determined, Diane always put her family first. She was often on the go, logging many miles on her car and taking spontaneous little trips that brought her happiness.
Her sense of humor and positivity shone through in her favorite saying: "He woke us up. It's a good day to be alive, so smile - it could be worse. I could be your neighbor." Diane will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Diane is survived by: 4 children: Kevin Moulin of Casper, Wyoming, Brandon Moulin and Megan of Eufaula, Oklahoma, Melissa Torres and husband Ever of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Brian Moulin of Rose, Oklahoma; 8 grandchildren: Katie, Chris, Nathan, Maxwell, Everardo IV, Mileah, Auren, and Kinley; 1 brother: James Simpson of Arizona; 1 sister: Roberta Bauman of St. Joe, Missouri; Along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; and 1 brother: Clyde Simpson.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate Diane's life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on January 8, 2024, at the Locust Grove Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Rose Cemetery near Rose, Oklahoma. Pastor Bud Yllrich will officiate. Services have been entrusted to Locust Grove Funeral Home in Locust Grove, Oklahoma.
