Funeral services for Johnny Lee Swafford, Age 57, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on April 4, 2008, at the Hart Funeral Home Chapel in Tahlequah, OK with Pastor Dustin Wright and Pastor Tommy Duffield officiating.

Interment will follow at Lone Chapel Cemetery in Pryor, Oklahoma.

Services have been entrusted to Hart Funeral Home of Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

Serving as pallbearers are Jason Swafford, Philip Swafford, Rick Swafford, Justin Swafford, Doug Suvino and Joshua Swafford.

Honorary pallbearers will be James Swafford, Bill Swafford, Robert Swafford, Gary Swafford and Fred Swafford.

Johnny Lee Swafford was born on February 16, 1951 in Pryor, OK the son of Jessie James Swafford and Ora Jane (Sherfield) Swafford.

After attending school in Pryor, he moved to Riverside, CA where he worked as a contract roofer and painter. On August 1st, 1970, he married the love of his life, Joanna Faith Randel. To this union five children were born.

Johnny and Joanna returned to the Stilwell area and raised their family. Johnny owned and operated "One Way roofing Company". When he wasn't working, Johnny enjoyed singing at Shirley Springs. He love hunting, fishing, watching western movies and horses. But most of all, he loved the time he spent with his wife, children, grandchildren and family. He was a devoted family man and Christian and a member of Stilwell Assemble of God. He will be greatly missed by his many friends and family.

Those preceding him in death include his father; Jessie James Swafford, an infant daughter; Christina, two sisters; Claramae Gonzales and Dorothy Eaton, and one nephew; Billy Swafford. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Joanna of the home, four adored children; Jason and Mandie Swafford of Tahlequah, OK, Philip and Jennifer Swafford of Tahlequah, OK, Angela and Douglas Suvino of New Jersey, and Stephanie Collins of Stilwell, OK.

He is also survived by his mother, Ora Randle, nine grandchildren; Joshua Swafford, Kristyn Swafford, Alyssa Suvino, Keyton Swafford, Siera Collins, Adreyen Swafford, Miranda Suvino, Asher Swafford, and Axl Swafford, his seven brothers and four sisters; James Swafford of Peggs, OK, Robert Swafford of Chouteau, OK, Fred Swafford of Tahlequah, OK, Bill Swafford of Bunch, OK, Rick Swafford of Pryor, OK, Gary Swafford, Danny Swafford of California, Billie Grisson, Judy Schultz of Bartlesville, OK, Linda Hansen of California, and Frances Jones of Siloam Springs, AR, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends and loved ones.
