Glenda Marie Wallace
June 2, 1945 - February 19, 2026

Glenda Marie Wallace, 80, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on February 19, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on June 2, 1945, in Pryor, Oklahoma, to Joe and Ruby (Jackson) Cole.

Glenda grew up in the Little Kansas and Rose, Oklahoma area and graduated with the Class of 1962 from Little Kansas High School. On May 7, 1966, she married the love of her life, Jack Wallace, at the Old Camp Meeting Tabernacle in Tulsa, now known as Century Cathedral. Their love story began at work after Jack returned home from the military, and just three months and three days later, they were united in marriage. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and service.

Glenda and Jack made their home in Tulsa for approximately sixteen years before moving to Locust Grove for three years, later returning to Tulsa. Glenda was a devoted homemaker and took great pride in caring for her family. Over the years, she and Jack opened their hearts and home as foster parents to 27 children, leaving a lasting impact on each life they touched.

She worked off and on at Miss Jackson's, a high-end boutique in Tulsa, and faithfully served in various church ministries, including working in the food pantry. Glenda and Jack were longtime members of Century Cathedral, formerly Camp Meeting Tabernacle, where they were part of the traveling choir. Through the years, they also attended Murphy Church of God and Jubilee Ministries in Locust Grove. Glenda taught Sunday School, served as a secretary to her pastor, and faithfully read her Bible each day. Anything related to church brought her joy.

Glenda was a wonderful cook and was especially known for her fried chicken, peppered steak, meatloaf, and her famous million-dollar cake. She kept a beautiful home and loved caring for her family. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she played a significant role in raising her two oldest grandsons while her daughter attended nursing school.

She had a beautiful, loving personality and was known for her strength and unwavering faith. Glenda did not judge others; she simply loved them. A true social butterfly, she seemed to know everyone and remembered special details about each person she met. Above all, she was deeply faithful and devoted to her family. Glenda will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
